Hello / Bonjour !

Active primarely on V/UHF and based out of Timmins.  Licenced since late 80's  

Accredited Examinator with ISED (Industry Canada) currently sponsored by Timmins club

Travel accross northwestern Quebec and northern Ontario for work.

Have my own analogue repeater VE3KUR in South Porcupine on 147.390+

Wife is licenced as well VE3TAG 

Call Sign, KD0SGU,  Tech license USA, new to amateur radio. Working on General after I get done playing and building all my projects. Great hobby with great people!

Amateur Radio has been a big part of my and my families lives as all three of my children are licensed, and also my wife Cheryl is a amateur operator too.  It was  funny when my wife got her call which is VA3SPQ and she would call me on the repeater, oh yes my call is VE3SPQ. My son was the youngest Ham in Canada back in the early 1990's ( just turned 10) hence his call was VE3YHC - Andrew (lives in Collingwood, my next oldest is Jennifer VA3JCA ( lives in Kapuskasing), and my youngest daughter 's call is VE3KSL - Krystal (lives in Collingwood). I monitor the Kapuskasing Repeater 146.930 and also monitor my repeater VA3FOK here in Fauquier 443.800  pl 156.7

Was an examiner from 1991 until 2007. My belief still remains the same, as a older Ham Operator we must help and guide the newer Hams for a prosperous and gradifying Hobby to be enjoyed and show comrodery  to all our brethern and sisters in this Hobby.
